THE FIGHT BEGINS

What's popping! I do food reviews and stuff. Come join me in my adventure! In this blog, I will be choosing the best restaurant out of the 5 i visited in the NJ and NY area.

Which restaurant is number one on my list? Let’s go find out!

NUMBER 1: Maximilian's Pizza (NY)

They didn't even slice up the pizza, I had to do it myself? Like can't they just stick to the tradition of slicing the pizza up for you instead of trying to be unique or something? Taste was kinda wack too like I'm bad at explaining it but it tasted raw? Like how can a pizza taste raw? Was it undercooked? The bread was raw? If you can't even fully cook the bread then get OUTTA here. Idk but it was really bad if I think about it more, because I feel like even the cheese wasn't fully melted. The raw bread and the cold cheese wasn't it guys. The price was really cheap so I guess it evens out, but I don't think I'll be craving this ever again. The waiter also seemed a little clumsy. I'm not roasting him or anything and I respect waiters, but he seemed to be struggling when carrying out the pizza pans and stuff. Maybe gotta bulk up idk. Anyways, I am a definitely disappointed in this pizza.

NUMBER 2: Tommy's Gargantuan Burgers (NY)

Sorry for my blurry photos again I'm not that good at taking pictures but it's whatever. The burgers are not as "gargantuan" like they say tbh. I didn't know what I was expecting but the burgers were literally the size of a Burger King Whopper. Not that gargantuan. They should be called Tommy’s Medium Burgers instead. As for the taste, it was pretty good. The meat was cooked medium rare like I asked, and the bacon added a nice touch to the dish. As expected of a slightly more expensive restaurant out of the 5 I visited. However, I'm on a budget and the burgers weren't as gargantuan as the price. I don't think I'll be coming back here unless it's for a date or something.

Do you see how bloody the omelettes look or is it just me? Wack but the taste is what’s important so let me focus on that. Basically I received the dish and was taken aback cuz do you not see the mess in the photo. Thing looks more bootleg in person and I was a little scared. But I took a bite out of it cuz I wasn’t going to not eat it. LEMME TELL YOU though I was actually pleasantly surprised. The egg was cooked nicely and the sauce went really well with the egg and rice. There was a lot of veggies in there too and tons of bacon so how could it not taste good. Honestly would come back here. Price was chill, place was chill, workers were chill. The omelette was chill too. The omelette looks like a mess, but this is another example of why we shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! I mean just look at the photo. This is probably the worst sandwich I've ever tried in my life, and that's saying a lot. The bread is crusty dusty like my lips in the middle of winter. Sam's Sammies? More like Sam's Whammies. I feel like I just took a blow in the face. A sandwich shop that doesn't know how to properly make something so easy to make? What a joke! The cucumbers were too watery and that made the sandwich just taste very bland. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, don't let the low prices sway you into trying. And if after reading this you still want to give it a shot, god have mercy on you because you're going to need it.

Winnie if that was you at the counter, girl you were so rude. Who was she lemme get her @. I swear if I ever come back to this place and see you again, something is about to go down. Girl was so rude for what? Snatching the money like that out of my hands and all. I'm gonna keep things professional though and focus on the food so let me do just that. Their dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets were apparently popular and they were cool I guess, but it tasted kinda damp ngl. Texture was weird, nuggets were super crumbly, and my experience here was not that good. Maybe this place is popular amongst 10 year olds. Overall this place was okay but only because I like chicken nuggets.
